Terms and Conditions for Booking of Property with Hippo Infra Projects. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Approval of Booking
The booking of the residential plot/commercial plots is subject to approval by Hippo Infra Projects (the "Developer").
2. Customer's Responsibility
The Customer agrees to provide accurate, complete, and relevant information when applying for the booking. The Developer reserves the right to reject the Booking Form if it is found that the Customer has provided any false information.
3. Completion of Customer Information Form
All fields and entries in the 'Customer Information Form' (except those designated for official use by the Developer) must be fully completed by the Customer. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
4. Area Variation
The actual area of the property may vary from the area stated in the Booking Form. The Developer reserves the right to make changes to the property layout at its discretion without any liability.
5. Additional Charges
Due to price escalation or other essential reasons, the Developer may impose additional development or construction charges on the Customer, as deemed necessary.
6. Agreement to Purchase
The Customer agrees to purchase the property from the Developer at the agreed purchase price and in accordance with the payment schedule ('Schedule of Installment Payments') and these Terms and Conditions.
7. Down Payment Process
The Customer agrees to submit the down payment through Pay Order, Cheque, Credit Card, or Online Transfer to the designated account(s) specified by the Developer during the booking process.
8. Payment Terms
All payments must be made according to the 'Schedule of Installment Payments' in favor of "Hippo Infra" through the designated payment methods. If payment is made by credit card, the Customer will bear any applicable bank processing charges.
9. Partial Down Payment
In the case of a partial down payment, the Customer must submit the remaining balance within 10 days. If the remaining balance is not received within the prescribed time, the Developer reserves the right to cancel the pre-booking.
10. Payment Failure
If the down payment is not settled by the bank or the Customer within the stipulated time, the Developer may cancel the pre-booking without prior notice. Any amounts previously received by the Developer will be forfeited.
11. Additional Charges for Special Categories
The Customer agrees to pay additional charges for properties falling under special categories such as Corner Plots, West Open, Boulevard View, or Park Facing and Wide road.
12. Timely Payment
Timely payment of instalments is essential. If the Customer fails to pay an instalment by the due date, a late payment charge of 1.5% per month (0.05% per day) will be applied to the outstanding balance.
13. Failure to Pay Instalments
If the Customer fails to pay a maximum of two (2) consecutive instalments, the Developer may grant an additional period of up to 30 days. If payment is still not received, the Developer reserves the right to cancel the booking and forfeit the down payment.
14. Transfer of Property
In the event of a transfer of property by the Customer to a third party, the original Customer must clear all outstanding dues before the transfer takes place. The first transfer will be free of cost; subsequent transfers are chargeable as per company policy.
15. Cancellation by Customer
If the Customer wishes to cancel the plot after the payment has been made, 30% of the total amount paid will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded within 90 days from the date of the cancellation application.
16. Force Majeure
The Developer shall not be held responsible for any loss, delay, or failure in fulfilling its obligations due to natural events, government legislation, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
